New Undergraduate Student Orientation

Orientation is a great way to become acclimated to everything that the Chatham Community has to offer you. This program is designed to provide you with the tools to enhance your experience here and to connect with fellow classmates before the school begins.

International Student Orientation

This orientation is mandatory for all new undergraduate and graduate international students at the start of their entry term. If you fail to attend orientation, a hold will be placed on your Student Account and you will not be able to update/register for classes. During orientation, you will learn about:

  • Transportation to campus
  • Basic information about housing and meal plans
  • Immigration check-in requirement
  • Schedules and requirements

Family & Friends Information

Chatham’s offices and support services will be open on move-in day to tour and connect with. After move-in, a family and friends reception will provide an opportunity for parents and families to meet and mingle. For more information, email the Office of Student Affairs or call 412-365-1286.

Family & Friends Weekend

We are excited to welcome all of our families and friends to Chatham University's for a weekend of fun activities! Fall 2023 Family and Friends Weekend takes place from September 29-October 1 and is open to everyone of all ages. Registration for this event is required.
